CPU Charts, An ATI Update, And Zotac’s Mini-ITX Board

I hope that our U.S. public had a holiday wonderful Thanksgiving. Now we’re back to the routine of a month-long sprint ahead of many interesting releases Consumer Electronics Show next year. I can not give much away, but will be much to read in the first week of 2010.

New graphics processor Desktop 2009

First things first. I know that our graphic charts are in urgent need of an upgrade, now that the ATI Radeon HD 5000-series cards are at least a boat down the street a few at a time (not to mention the fact that they are universally sold out) and Nvidia has a handful of DirectX 10.1 tables (the singing cicadas?) in the channel.

The good news, however, is that your CPU Charts Desktop 2009 have been updated to include the following processors (in most models that have already been tested):

AMD

Phenom X2 II 545 (3 GHz)
Athlon X2 II 245 (2.9 GHz)
Athlon X2 II 240 (2.8 GHz)
Athlon X2 235e II (2.7 GHz)
II X3 Athlon 435 (2.9 GHz)
Athlon II X3 425 (2.7GHz)
Athlon II X3 405e (2.3 GHz)
Athlon II X3 400e (2.2 GHz)
Phenom X4 9350 (2.0GHz)
Phenom X4 9150 (1.8GHz)

Intel

Core i7-950 (3.06 GHz)
Core i7-870 (2.93 GHz)
Core i5-750 (2.66 GHz)

An update from ATI

It’s a shame that ATI seems to be always fighting availability problems that impeded the adoption of the Radeon HD 4770-card that was used to good performance within an integrated fingerprint thermal reasonable. I read a series of talks with ATI for an explanation, said the volume number, and I suppose that when the 5000-series of tips will be more accessible.

The fact is that none of this matters.

If you want a Radeon HD 5850, 5870, or 5970 in this holiday season, will have trouble finding one (looks like Newegg is expected that some 5850 in morning, at least). And if you do, you will pay more for it than one might have expected after reading my reviews of these three tables. Therefore, I have updated every write short passages in letters to reflect the principle today. They are being super fast and feature-Laden, but things are downright crazy hard to follow.
